Aftersales Manager

Applications are invited for the position of Aftersales Manager which it is anticipated will be from a time-served technician who has been promoted through the ranks to Workshop Manager.


Previous motor trade experience in a similar position is required, preferably in a Ford environment although this is not essential. Technical experience is essential.

The successful applicant will be managing the quality control of two workshops.

About the job

  • Responsibility for the daily operation of the Service & Parts Department including Workshop
  • Quality control of the Malcolm Waite Ltd used car programme.
  • Responsibility for the management of the Service and Parts Department - coaching, training and retaining the servicing team while upholding company policies and ethos.
  • Accountable for the financial performance and control of both operations.
  • Responsible for maintaining standards required for Ford Compliance & Reporting (Training standards, Tooling, Ford Audits, Mystery Shops, KPI’s, Warranty)
  • To manage and resolve all customer concerns
  • Health and Safety
  • MOT – compliance, training and control of Authorised Examiner station
  • AA / RAC / 1 Link Management & Reporting
  • Warranty Control and management (QBE)
  • Key Holder and alarm contact list
  • Reporting to the Directors.
